what is the waves of life collection
waves of life is a trio of stacking rings — calm sea, the crest, and deep sea — each cut as a sculptural marquise wave in solid 14k gold or platinum. every ring is made to order in the los angeles studio, in yellow, white, or rose gold, and sized from 3 to 11 with half sizes available. the band sits at 2.1mm, narrow enough that all three stack cleanly on one finger or spread across a hand.
the rings can be bought as a matched three-piece set, in one of a few pre-designed stone combinations, or built one at a time — starting with a single ring and adding the other two later, on a future anniversary or milestone.
what each ring means
the collection is designed, in juwels & co's own words, to represent "the highs, the stillness, and the depths that shape a life." each ring carries one part of that.
stillness and peace. the quiet, settled part of a relationship — often set with moonstone or sky blue topaz.
the high points — the moments worth marking. the centerpiece ring, most often set with a lab-grown diamond or blue sapphire.
depth and growth — what's been worked through together. often set with onyx or blue sapphire.
