Hi! We’re Julia and Julia. We’re the German duo behind our Seattle based company Juwels & Co. We've been good friends ever since we met 16 years ago while studying photography. For more than 10 years now, we've both been working in the high-end luxury industry. Julia M. as a former Editor at Vogue Germany and Julia V. as Art Director for Airbnb Luxe.
We share a passion for high quality products and design. We truly believe that a luxurious life does not have to be at the expense of nature and our fellow human beings. All of our rings are made from recycled gold and lab-grown diamonds, which are physically identical to mined diamonds without harming the environment or financing any wars.

In fact, our lab-grown diamonds actually help to reduce air pollution by using recycled carbon dioxide. So, by choosing our diamonds, you can be sure that you are making a positive impact on the planet.
In total, air emissions on a single carat of mined diamonds are 1.5 billion times higher than those of a lab-grown one. While the production of mined diamonds requires 125 pounds of carbon to create 1 carat, lab-grown diamonds need only 6 pounds of carbon.
These are great news, but we are still aware that lab diamonds are not 100% sustainable at this time. Our vision is to go one step further by using a new technology that removes carbon from the atmosphere. Until 2025, our goal is to become one of few diamond jewelry companies that a registered as a BCorp.

In order to make our contribution to climate protection, we use recycled 14 carat gold and lab-grown diamonds that consume much less energy and resources than conventional diamonds. However, in order to offer you a 100% carbon neutral product, we offset our remaining carbon emissions for you by working with climeworks.
We are expert in understanding diamonds. With years of experience in the diamond industry, we are highly trained and knowledgeable about the 4Cs - Cut, Clarity, Color, and Carat. We understand the the process of finding the perfect diamond can be very stressful. Thats why we offer predetermined diamond quality standards, certified by GIA and IGI.
CARAT - we offer all-carat weight
Diamonds are measured by their carat weight. Large diamonds are rarer than small ones. Besides the other 3 Cs, the carat is based purely on personal preference.
CUT- Excellent
When a diamond is well-cut, light travels through it in a breathtaking way. That's why we only offer excellent-cut diamonds.
CLARITY - VVS-VS
During the growing process of a diamond, they can form natural marks called inclusions or blemishes. We recommended diamonds from FL (flawless - no marks) to VS2 (very slightly included marks).
COLOR - D-G
The majority of diamonds used in jewelry are almost colorless with a slightly yellowish or brown tinge. Color is described using different letters – we recommend diamonds from D (colorless) to J (near colorless).
In addition, we are proud to be one of the first jewelers to use carbon-negative diamonds. This completely new process of producing genuine diamonds has so far only been accessible to a few jewelers. We offer climate-positive diamonds exclusively in personalised rings such as engagement rings or wedding bands.
